Return and Refund Policy
Our policy allows returns within 30 days after your item(s) has been received. After 30 days, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part or the part of the manufacturers we use are covered at our expense.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are sealed, intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Initiating a Return
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. To return your product, reach out to us at desocializedmedicineartistry@gmail.com and make sure to include your order number in the subject line or within your email. Please also include your name and proof of purchase in the email, as well as a description of whether you are wanting to do a return or an exchange, and if the reason for your return or exchange is due to a misprinted/damaged/defective item(s). We will then assist you with the next steps to complete the return or exchange process.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer prior to communicating with us as you may void your eligibility for a refund or exchange.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Unwarranted excessive communication with us without following the above steps may void your eligibility for returns, exchanges, and refunds. Multiple communications in the same business day may be considered unwarranted or excessive, especially if we have not had a chance to respond, unless it is to provide any clarifying or missing information in your previous communications with us.
Please know we are a small business and we will do our best to get back to you within two business days of your initial communication with us. Business days exclude weekends and holidays. We may also periodically be out of the office and will do our best to make you aware of when this is the case and when we may have delays in getting back to you. This method may be in the form of an automatic email reply. Please also note if we are experiencing a large amount of orders or requests for returns or exchanges that may also cause delays in us being able to communicate with you, holidays may be some of our busier times.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned or refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Be aware that we require a photo (or multiple photos) to be submitted with your email requesting an exchange in order to begin a reshipment. It is always best to include photos with your initial problem report to avoid delays.
Items Lost in Transit
For any item(s) you believe was lost in the mail on its way to you, you must attempt to contact the shipping carrier prior to getting in touch with us to see if they can remedy the issue. Keep a record of any written communication you may have with the shipping carrier, we may ask for you to share this with us.
Keep in mind that if tracking information from the shipping carrier states an order was delivered but you believe you haven't received it, we won't take responsibility and reship that order. In that case, any replacements would have to be at your expense.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed or emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Wrong Address
If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to the manufacturer's facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).
Unclaimed Items
Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to the manufacturer's facility and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment to yourself (if and as applicable).
Be aware that any returned orders due to the wrong shipping address or a failure to claim the shipment will be automatically returned to the manufacturer and won’t be available for reshipping and will be donated to charity at your cost (without us issuing a refund).
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, we highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that your returned item will be received by the appropriate party.
Notification for EU consumers
According to Article 16(c) and (e) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal may not be provided for:
1. the supply of goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized;
2. sealed goods which were unsealed after delivery and thus aren't suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, therefore we reserve the rights to refuse returns at our sole discretion.

This Policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the English language, regardless of any translations made for any purpose whatsoever.
